This issue of American Mead Maker, The Journal of the American Mead Makers Association is quite the opus. This one is chock full of content. It includes am article by Ricky Klein of Groenfell Meadery on how to make (or not make) mead in cold climates. AMMA’s President Chris Webber provides his first address and adds a great account of the first Mead Maker’s Short Course at UC Davis.
Chrissie Manion Zaerpoor or Kookoolan Meadery continues to contribute great content. She wrote a feature on expert mead and food pairing along with her story about opening up a mead superstore. And of course as the AMMA chair of the Legislative Committee, Chrissie provides her ongoing mead legislation column.
