Fall is definitely my favorite season. With it comes cooler weather, warm vibrant colors and fresh apples. This recipe is a delicious fall take on the Manhattan.
It will surely keep you warm on those cold fall nights.
- 2 oz Rye Whiskey
- 2 oz Cyzer (St. Ambrose X.R. Cyser)
- A dash of orange bitters (I used homemade bitters, but these Angotura Orange Bitters are tried and true)
- Slice of orange for garnish
- Slice of apple for garnish
Stir the rye, cyser and bitters well with cracked ice. Strain into in a glass and garnish with a slice of apple, a slice of orange and if you would like, a maraschino cherry.
