A nice drinkable mead. Nothing earth-shattering, but a good summer session drinker.
The Dwarf Invasion from B Nektar is a mead made with tart Balaton cherries and Styrian Golding hops. Overall, the mead and label are good. A few little misses here and there keep it from being great. But good is good – refreshing and quite drinkable.
St. Ambrose is definitely headed in the right direction toward “changing the paradigm of mead” with their cherry and ginger draft style mead.
Zombie Killer is a cherry cyser from Michigan based B. Nektar Meadery. The label and the mead behind it are in no way traditional, which turns out to be a very good thing!
