Another great issue of American Mead Maker released right before this year’s mazer cup. We’ve been getting content from the American Mead Maker’s Association as well as mead makers around the country. This is a dense issue – in a good way. It focuses on the dramatic legislative challenges and successes of the American Mead Makers Association. In about 3 years the AMMA organization has really produced some excellent results.
This issue also includes the second annual mead industry report (1st report here). The industry sees continued growth and awareness. Great news for all the meadists out there. Consistent contributor and founder of Groennfell Meadery, Ricky Klein speaks about the many hats a mead maker must wear – something any entrepreneur will find out very quickly.
I’ve also included two mead reviews that you might recognize from the blog – Sap House Meadery Hopped Blueberry Maple and Moonlight Meadery Kurt’s Apple Pie.

Thanks! I find it much easier to read as a PDF in Acrobat than the online “reader.” Plus I save them! :o)
