I have recently jumped on board with the American Mead Makers Association (AMMA) to help refine the visual identity of “American Mead Maker”, AMMA’s quarterly publication. I worked with editor, Jeff Herbert of Superstition Meadery to pull it together (great guy by the way). The newsletter is published seasonally. The most recent one, the fall issue includes articles from Chrissie Manion Zaerpoor of Kookoolan Meadery (Whose mead I recently tried and it was awesome! full review coming soon) and Ricky Klein of Groennfell Meadery about mead legislation. The legislation section includes a great letter by Ken Schramm.
The newsletter also includes a couple stories about two start-ups – Aesir Meadery and Bee Well Meadery (this article you may have seen before on this site). So grab a glass of mead and dig into some interesting content.
