Ayele Solomon is no stranger to mead. As a native of Ethiopia, where traditional honey wine called t’ej is ubiquitous. He started the Honey Wine Company to make mead that can make positive change in the environment and people of Ethiopia.
I recently finished reading a great little book on mead – and by finished, I mean only a couple hours after I started it. Overall its a solid account of the history and current consumption of mead, geared more toward a novice mead drinker but can be appreciated by experts as well.
